About The Role

The Content Strategist is a vital, client-facing position responsible for managing day-to-day client deliverables, developing customized marketing strategies, and maintaining effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders. This role primarily supports Enterprise clients by constructing comprehensive marketing plans that integrate Directive’s suite of services. The strategist will work closely with cross-functional teams to craft innovative content campaigns, optimize SEO strategies, and ensure the achievement of client goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in SEO, content strategy, and digital marketing
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Asana
  • Familiarity with industry tools including Google Search Console and Screaming Frog
  • Agency experience, particularly in B2B technology or SaaS sectors
  • Ability to analyze website traffic and SEO metrics effectively
  • Enthusiasm for staying current with industry trends, including AI and automation
  • Organizational and time-management skills with a detail-oriented mindset
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement custom SEO and content strategies aligned with client objectives
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director to address and resolve strategic roadblocks
  • Create compelling creative briefs and content campaigns based on competitive and audience insights
  • Utilize data from analytics platforms to set, track, and optimize client goals
  • Manage project workflows by delegating tasks via Asana and coordinating with specialists and client teams
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients and internal teams through Slack, meetings, and reports
  • Prepare and deliver bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual performance reports and business reviews
  • Identify growth opportunities through upselling, cross-selling, and client referrals
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships to ensure high satisfaction and retention
