About The Role

The role drives organic and paid acquisition channels, designing and executing search strategies that capture high-intent traffic and convert it into pipeline. Operating at the intersection of technical SEO, content strategy, and paid search execution, this position optimizes performance across major search engines to maximize return on ad spend and compound organic search equity. Working alongside content, product, and web development teams, the role is responsible for diagnosing technical site issues, guiding on-page optimization, and scaling search engine marketing campaigns. This is a highly analytical position requiring a deep understanding of search algorithms, user search behavior, and conversion rate optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize comprehensive SEM campaigns across Google Ads and Bing Ads, focusing on keyword research, ad copy creation, bid management, and quality score improvement.
  • Conduct continuous technical SEO audits, identifying and collaborating with engineering teams to resolve crawlability, indexing, site speed, and structured data issues.
  • Perform extensive keyword research and competitive analysis to identify content gaps and structure targeted organic search strategies.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key search performance metrics using GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to prove ROI and channel growth.
  • Design and execute continuous A/B tests for landing pages, ad copy, and bidding strategies to lower customer acquisition costs (CAC).
  • Collaborate with the content team to align editorial plans with search demand, ensuring proper optimization of high-value landing pages and blog content.

What We Are Looking For

  • 3-6 years of experience managing hands-on SEO and SEM programs, preferably within a B2B SaaS or high-growth tech environment.
  • Proven track record of managing five-figure monthly paid search budgets with demonstrable pipeline or revenue impact.
  • Deep technical proficiency with industry standard tools, including Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
  • A strong understanding of search engine ranking factors, HTML/CSS/JS concepts as they relate to search, and structured data markup.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex search data into actionable growth strategies and executive-level reports.
  • Bonus: Professional certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, or experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) platforms like Optimizely or VWO.
