About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Content Writer to join our team. In this position, you will create high-quality, SEO-friendly blog posts and other on-page content for our diverse range of ecommerce clients.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, on-brand, SEO-friendly content (short and long form) for ecommerce websites
• Brainstorm blog topic ideas based on industry trends, client products, company news, etc.
• Develop and manage content calendars for clients
• Implement on-page content optimizations (for category pages, etc.)
• Create SEO-optimized content for ecommerce product pages, such as product descriptions
• Use basic product information as inspiration for persuasive, interesting content ideas
• Schedule and lead client-facing meetings to understand their content needs and present your ideas
• Nurture positive client relationships through excellent written and verbal communication
• Turn unstructured client ideas and requests into high-performing content
• Effectively write in each client’s unique voice and according to brand guidelines
• Take full ownership of project timelines and delivery
• Coordinate tasks, timelines, and deliverables with internal team members

Requirements

• Portfolio of blog and website content copywriting projects
• Understanding of SEO content writing best practices
• Prior experience creating B2C content in the ecommerce space
• Creative vision and drive to create original, high-quality, high-performing content
• Clear, confident, and efficient communication, both written and verbal
• Ability to thrive as part of a small remote team while working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities

Schedule

This is a part-time, remote position (approximately 10 hours per week). We have team members across all US time zones, but do require that your availability overlaps 4-5 hours with standard EST work hours.
