SEO and Content Writer

Part-time role based in AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time).

About the role

We are looking for an SEO and Content Writer to support our digital marketing efforts. We need someone who can create clear, well-structured content that helps us reach the right audience online and strengthens our presence across digital channels. This role is a great fit for someone with a solid content writing background who is either already experienced in SEO or eager to apply their digital marketing and social media skills in a new context.

Responsibilities

• Writing clear, accurate, and engaging content for our website, blog, and online platforms
• Optimising existing and new content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic visibility
• Supporting social media content creation and scheduling across relevant platforms
• Researching relevant keywords, topics, and industry trends to inform content strategy
• Ensuring all content is consistent in tone, accurate in detail, and aligned to our brand
• Assisting with basic digital marketing tasks as required throughout the project

Requirements

• Solid experience in content writing — able to write clearly for a professional audience
• SEO knowledge or experience is preferred but not required
• Background in digital marketing or social media management is highly regarded
• Ability to research and write confidently on topics related to emergency response, first aid, or workplace safety
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines independently
• Self-directed and reliable in a remote, project-based setup
