About the role
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst level 2 or 3 to support the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division. This position will be located at Roy, UT.
Responsibilities
- Prepares, develops, and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives.
- Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
- Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
- Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
Requirements
- Level 2: Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, Aerospace and Defense, or related professional experience; a Master's degree with 1 year; or 6 years with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- Level 3: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, Aerospace and Defense, or related professional experience; a master's degree and 3 years; a PhD with 1 year; or 9 years of experience may be accepted with a HS Diploma in lieu of a degree.
Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel, VBA, Macros.
- Aerospace/Defense Industry Experience.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD secret clearance and Special Program Access as required by the business.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.

Pay
The primary level salary range is $72,100.00 - $108,100.00, while the secondary level salary range is $89,400.00 - $134,200.00. Overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus may also be offered.
Schedule
The standard work schedule is 9/80, which allows employees to work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday and take every other Friday off.
