About the role
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal/Sr Principal Project Management Analyst to lead day-to-day supply chain and subcontract execution activities for the Flight Systems (FS) Business Unit on the Sentinel Program. This position is located in Roy, UT, reports to the Global Supply Chain Program Manager (GSC PM), and requires regular in-office attendance—hybrid or telework arrangements are not supported at this time.
Responsibilities
- Supports Global Supply Chain (GSC) activities for all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP) related to the Segment’s content.
- Ensures consistency in GSC processes across all disciplines.
- Leads GSC cross-functional coordination between Engineering, Logistics, Mission Assurance, Quality, Program, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
- Applies critical thinking to develop solutions for complex problems, escalating process and performance challenges to the GSC PM as needed.
- Assists the GSC PM in meetings, process definition, improvement, and training for key program, engineering, and GSC personnel.
- Establishes priorities with Procurement and Planning teams.
- Aligns Subcontracts support and resources for projects.
- Holds program and GSC personnel accountable for execution throughout the acquisition process.
- Acquires, organizes, and standardizes key subcontractor and supplier information for the Segment.
- Builds and presents program-level leadership briefings focused on parts status and critical milestones.
- Focuses on financial forecasting, MRP system utilization to track and drive requirements fulfillment, and approved supplier list maintenance.
Qualifications
Principal Project Management Analyst
- 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 3 years with a Master’s; 1 year with a PhD.
- In lieu of a formal degree, 4 additional years of relevant experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated track record in project management, execution, and closeout.
- 3 years of experience developing DoD contracting strategies, creating materials, and delivering briefings.
Sr Principal Project Management Analyst
- 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 6 years with a Master’s; 4 years with a PhD.
- In lieu of a formal degree, 4 additional years of relevant experience may be considered.
- 5 years of experience with DoD contracting strategies.
- Experience with supplier management and incentive strategies on DoD contracts.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP Certification.
- Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Experience with establishing Strategy, Roadmap, and Vision artifacts.
- Proficiency with SAP, Windows software packages, Atlassian Tool Suite, and other electronic databases.
- Experience with Agile Development.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- For Sr Principal level: Executive presence, comfort in high-level communications, and a track record of program performance, team building, and management experience.
- For Sr Principal level: Ability to work with minimal direction, independently determine technical objectives, and present work for high-level review.

Pay
Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $152,200.00. Base salary offers consider factors such as scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Additional compensation may include overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses.
Schedule
This position follows a 9/80 work schedule, allowing employees who work nine-hour days Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
