About the role

This position can be located in Bellevue, NE and will support the Sentinel program. It is a full-time role with a 9/80 schedule, offering competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the design and configuration of infrastructure and cloud resources.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Write scripts and configurations to automate software testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment pipelines, apply patches, and resolve errors.
  • Automate infrastructure and cloud resource deployments and configurations using infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Remediate findings from vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
  • Informally mentor other staff in DevOps concepts and processes.
  • Work with peers and business partners to identify areas for workflow improvement.
  • Provide application support, configuration, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, identify causes, determine possible resolutions, and remediate issues.
  • Provide rotating 24x7 on-call support to lead the resolution of system issues and anomalies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study; 3+ years with a Master’s Degree; 1+ years with a PhD; or 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.) with a re-investigation within the last 6 years.
  • Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
  • Experience with build tools, continuous integration environments, and repositories in a Linux environment.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft and Linux Red Hat operating systems.
  • 5+ years of experience with scripting languages (e.g. PERL, Python, Bash, YAML).
  • 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes implementation and Day 2 Operations in a CI/CD Pipeline.
  • 3+ years of experience with container technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience developing and implementing CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with the ability to solve issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field of study.
  • IAT II certification (e.g. Security + CE) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible, Chef, or equivalent.
  • Experience with source code configuration management tools (i.e git).
  • Familiarity with container hardening and SBOM.
  • Experience with Jira/Confluence in an Agile environment.

Pay

The primary level salary range for this position is $98,400.00 - $163,200.00. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

Schedule

The standard work schedule for this position is a 9/80. This means employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday are given every other Friday off.
