About the role
This leadership role will be located in Bellevue, NE, Roy, UT, Colorado Springs CO or Huntsville, AL. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of requirements, allocation to lower levels, Requirement vs Capability (RvsC), verification planning (e.g RVAM development), and analysis planning and execution in a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment across the nodes.
- Communicate with the Weapon System, CS segment, and product teams to coordinate maturation and integration of CS content
- Lead MBSE strategy and implementation of architecture models for CS
- Lead team execution of MBSE architecture design, analysis, requirements analysis, requirement decomposition, and interface definition.
- Come up with mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with engineering, project managers, and the customer
- Acts as primary contact for project activities, leading project status review sessions with leadership, stakeholders, and sub-contractors to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance
- Support the MMIII SLP-A/SKDC Critical Design Review (CDR) and own and execute the Sentinel KDC & STOS Integrated Node CDRs
- Support planning and executing the EMD SOW, proactively interfacing with other SE&I organizations and teams to ensure successful allocation and verification of requirements
- Ensure team members have sufficient statement of work, balancing resources within your team, and verifying proper charging practices are followed
- Coordinate with Sentinel leadership and functional management to ensure appropriate staffing/de-staffing actions are developed and executed relative to your teams needs
- Interpret higher level guidance for implementation within the team for process implementation and improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and a minimum 8 years of related experience or master’s degree with 6 years of related experience
- US Citizenship with Active U.S. Government Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years
- Experience in verification planning
- Experience with Requirement development and management
- 1+ years of experience with MBSE Tools such as Cameo, DOORS, Rhapsody
