Responsibilities
- Lead client-facing sessions to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for post-production enhancements and optimizations
- Advise clients on industry standards and leading practices across Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking
- Recommend and design scalable solutions that align with client business processes and compliance needs
- Configure and optimize the Workday application to support evolving business requirements
- Support testing activities including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing
- Troubleshoot issues, provide root cause analysis, and deliver effective solutions in a post-production environment
- Build consensus among stakeholders and guide decision-making on system design and enhancements
- Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal team members
- Mentor and support the development of junior consultants
- Contribute to internal initiatives, accelerators, and best practices within Skillcentrix
Qualifications
- 2+ years of functional experience with Workday HCM
- Experience supporting or leading Workday Payroll, Absence, and/or Time Tracking (PATT) deployments or post-production support
- Hands-on experience configuring the Workday application
- Current or previous Workday HCM certification in Payroll, Absence, or Time Tracking required
- Experience in post-production support, AMS, or Phase X enhancements strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of business process design and optimization
- Proven ability to troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions
- Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced consultants
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Curiosity, flexibility, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Ability to travel up to 20% (infrequent, as needed)
