Senior Workday Technical Consultant (Integrations & Extend)

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing sessions to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for post-production enhancements and optimizations
• Advise clients on industry standards and leading practices across Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking
• Recommend and design scalable solutions that align with client business processes and compliance needs
• Configure and optimize the Workday application to support evolving business requirements
• Support testing activities including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing
• Troubleshoot issues, provide root cause analysis, and deliver effective solutions in a post-production environment
• Build consensus among stakeholders and guide decision-making on system design and enhancements
• Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal team members
• Mentor and support the development of junior consultants
• Contribute to internal initiatives, accelerators, and best practices within Skillcentrix

Qualifications

• 2+ years of functional experience with Workday HCM
• Experience supporting or leading Workday Payroll, Absence, and/or Time Tracking (PATT) deployments or post-production support
• Hands-on experience configuring the Workday application
• Current or previous Workday HCM certification in Payroll, Absence, or Time Tracking required
• Experience in post-production support, AMS, or Phase X enhancements strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of business process design and optimization
• Proven ability to troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions
• Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced consultants
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Curiosity, flexibility, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Ability to travel up to 20% (infrequent, as needed)
