Senior Windows Systems Engineer
About the role
Our client is seeking a tenured Windows Engineer to support a multi-year project focused on adding multiple domains. This role is heavily centered on Active Directory, making that experience critical. The ideal candidate must have experience in an enterprise multi-domain environment, strong PowerShell scripting skills, and the ability to write custom scripts. Given the highly regulated nature of this environment, documentation and communication skills are essential. The ability to perform root cause analysis is also required.
This is a hybrid contract position based in Philadelphia, PA, with the option to sit out of Chicago, Philadelphia, Baltimore, or Kennett Square. The role requires onsite presence 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Support a multi-year project to add multiple domains in an enterprise environment.
- Develop and maintain Active Directory infrastructure.
- Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation in a highly regulated environment.
- Perform root cause analysis for technical issues.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Active Directory in an enterprise multi-domain environment.
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills, with the ability to write custom scripts.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00 per hour.
