Senior Window Systems Administrators FSP with Security Clearance

About the role

TENICA and Associates LLC is seeking a Senior Window Systems Administrator with a TS/SCI clearance. The position involves attending TEMs to discuss and agree upon MOAs, assessing server loads, maintaining server rooms, performing server checklists, and providing operational pager duty support.

Responsibilities

• Audit server loads and develop tuning recommendations
• Build servers and provide technical configuration, setup, installation services, and hardware coordination
• Communicate outages and server degradation to management
• Create and maintain asset management records
• Create and submit request for service support (SRS) reports
• Implement and maintain server baselines
• Monitor and support tape backups
• Perform operating system software updates and upgrades
• Provide technical evaluations, analysis, and troubleshooting for all supported servers
• Support customer in the development of dedicated and internal build reports
• Transition servers
• Understand and implement established technical and workflow procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of six (6) years of experience in systems administration
• Bachelor's degree
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
• Experience with server maintenance and special projects
• Ability to communicate effectively with management and customers
• Proficiency in communication and coordination for application projects
