About the role

The Senior Welding & Materials Engineer is responsible for overseeing welding processes and materials within the Quality Division. This position requires a deep understanding of welding techniques and material science.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and improve welding processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Develop and implement new welding procedures and materials based on project needs and technological advancements.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure adherence to inspection protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex engineering issues and optimize production efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in welding and materials engineering.
• Proven track record of successful implementation of advanced welding technologies.
• Experience in managing welding projects from conception to completion.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex engineering problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in welding codes and standards such as AWS, ASME, and API.
• Knowledge of material properties and selection criteria.
