About the Role

Provide DevSecOps and Agile IT support services for operational mission support for the systems under the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Information Systems Division (ISD) portfolio. Design, create, and modify websites. Analyze user needs to implement website content, graphics, performance, and capacity. May integrate websites with other computer applications. May convert written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible web formats by using software designed to facilitate the creation of web and multimedia content.

Designs and develops SharePoint systems to accomplish functions in an optimum manner. Develops plans for systems from project inception to completion. Analyzes the problem and the information to be processed and defines the solution. Designs and builds user interfaces for SharePoint sites using a variety of techniques and tools. Ensures that the "look and feel" supports the organization’s strategies and goals and facilitates user interaction with the system. Designs and develops workflows, lists, forms, and dashboards. Responsibilities include documentation, content migration, testing, deployment, and user training. Ensures SharePoint site standardization via site and content templates, metadata tagging, workflows, and reporting.

Communicates effectively with customers on a day-to-day basis. Responds to user-initiated help desk tickets and provides resolution to issues as required. Maintains and refines permissions and SharePoint groups to assist the lead developer in ensuring proper security controls are in place.

Responsibilities

  • Handle documentation, content migration, testing, deployment, and user training.
  • Ensure SharePoint site standardization via templates, metadata tagging, workflows, and reporting.
  • Communicate with customers and resolve help desk tickets.
  • Maintain and refine permissions and SharePoint groups for security controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or related field, or at minimum an IT Certification.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with HTML, jQuery, Web Services, and SharePoint Designer. Five (5) years' experience is equivalent to two (2) years of education.
  • Two (2) years of experience with Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of experience in an Agile DevSecOps software development environment and methodologies.
  • Must be able to obtain a favorable Tier 1 clearance for unclassified systems.
  • SharePoint development experience preferred.
  • Secret Clearance required.
