Senior Web App Designer

About the role

You love building great software. Your work could be supporting new feature development, migrating existing features, and creating mobile and web solutions for customers. You'll have a primary focus on frontend development using JavaScript within a modern tech stack that includes React, Webpack, Redux, Apollo, and Styled Components.

A strong understanding of JavaScript core (ES2019+) is required, with some exposure to Java as a backend technology.

Modus is a fast-growing, remote-first company, so you'll likely gain experience on many different projects across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Give back to the community via open source contributions and blog posts.
• Travel and meet team members in person as part of our remote-first lifestyle to collaborate and build relationships.
• Teach and learn from others: work in active teams on internal and external projects, staying current with the latest technologies and learning from experts worldwide.
• Interact directly with internal and external clients to represent Modus and its values.

Requirements

• Self-driven and self-learner willing to share knowledge and participate actively in the community.
• Daily overlap with EST morning hours is required for collaboration in a global remote team.
• Reliable high-speed internet is a must.
