The Senior Wealth Advisor at Guerra Wealth Advisors is a high-performing, income-driven leader who serves as the primary advisor for the firm’s most complex and valuable client and prospect relationships. You are a trusted strategist, portfolio architect, and mentor who delivers advanced planning solutions while upholding the highest professional and cultural standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive financial planning for middle to high-net-worth and complex clients, including business owners, executives, and multi-generational families
- Develop and present advanced strategies for tax planning, estate planning, retirement income, and legacy wealth transfer with clear, compelling communication
- Create and manage diversified investment portfolios focused on risk-adjusted returns and tax efficiency using firm-approved processes
- Advises on concentrated stock positions, equity compensation, trust structures, charitable giving, and liquidity events
- Navigate complex planning scenarios including divorce, inheritance, business succession, and major life transitions
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis using advanced planning software, cash-flow modeling, and scenario analysis tools
- Serve as the primary relationship manager while collaborating with CPAs, attorneys, estate planners, and internal specialists
- Mentor and develop junior advisors through coaching, shadowing, and feedback on planning strategy and client communication
- Identify opportunities to expand assets under management through deepening relationships, referrals, and proactive engagement
- Represent Guerra Wealth Advisors by hosting client education workshops, seminars, and exclusive client events
- Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements, tax law updates, and advanced planning strategies
- Uphold Guerra processes, core values, compliance standards, and fiduciary excellence

Senior Wealth Advisors at GWA are supported by a fully built enterprise-level platform, including:
- Marketing Department generating consistent, high-quality lead flow
- Appointment Scheduling Team scheduling and confirming initial introductory meetings
- Director of First Impressions greeting and hosting clients in-office
- Onboarding Specialist transitioning prospects into clients and facilitating asset transfers (documentation)
- Life & Annuity Division assisting with insurance product placement and paperwork
- Estate Planning Division guiding clients through the estate planning process
- Wealth Management & Client Service Team handling service requests and ongoing review scheduling
- Exclusive Client Events Team providing private, invitation-only experiences for your clients
Compensation
$200,000 – $400,000+ Annually (Uncapped Commissions + Performance Bonuses)
$200,000 is the minimum expectation for Senior Wealth Advisors
Over the last six months, all Tier 2 Advisors were on pace to earn $250,000+ annually as a starting benchmark
Top performers significantly exceed this range through relationship expansion and referrals

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience advising high-net-worth clients
- CFP®, CFA®, ChFC®, or similar advanced designation (strongly preferred)
- RICP required within 1 year of hire
- Active Series 65 required (to obtain within first 90-days of employment)
- Life & Health (2-14 or 2-15) license required (to obtain within first 90-days of employment)
- Language: English (Spanish strongly preferred)
- Proven experience in working directly with clients & administering AUM of $50M+
- Expertise in financial planning, portfolio management, and tax-efficient strategies
- Strong leadership presence and mentoring capability
- Exceptional communication skills with boardroom-level confidence
- High ethical standards and fiduciary-first mindset
- Proficiency with modern financial planning technology & software
