Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer

Essential Functions of the Job

• Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, tanks and other water / wastewater storage and conveyance systems.
• Perform or manage engineering/process design, hydraulics, pumping systems, and treatment process projects.
• Collaborate with the multiple departments and sub-consultants required for multi-discipline projects.
• Research and utilize available resources.
• Coordinate with the multiple departments and sub-consultants required for multi-discipline projects.
• Communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Gather data for engineering analyses through phone contacts, written correspondence, and research sources.
• Prepare engineering reports, opinions and recommendations.
• Maintain completed project files and proper document control.
• Prepare design drawings, technical specifications, material quantity take-offs and develop construction cost estimates for projects.
• Provide other duties as may be assigned by the Project Managers/Task Leads to support project team.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Proven experience in the design/construction of Civil Engineering Projects (facilities (vertical), utilities)
    • Supervisory and leadership skills
    • Advanced understanding of water treatment / distribution and wastewater collection / treatment principles and state regulations
