About the role
This role involves leading water system planning and hydraulic modeling projects, primarily in California and Oregon, with an emphasis on Southern California.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical leader in hydraulic evaluations using software like InfoWater Pro, OpenFlows WaterGEMS, and Aquanuity.
- Analyze water use, population, and water quality data.
- Evaluate water supply availability and develop capital improvement programs.
- Prepare technical reports and master plans.
- Manage project teams, provide QA/QC reviews, and interact directly with clients to ensure excellent service.
- Assist with marketing and proposal development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
- 10+ years in Water System Planning and Hydraulic Modeling.
- PE licensure in California or applicable states.
- Proficiency with CAD, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Master's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and client interactions.
- Strong technical report writing and calculations.
- Proficiency with InfoWater PRO and Aquanuity.
