Senior - Water Systems & Water Supply Planning Engineer

About the role

This role involves leading water system planning and hydraulic modeling projects, primarily in California and Oregon, with an emphasis on Southern California.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical leader in hydraulic evaluations using software like InfoWater Pro, OpenFlows WaterGEMS, and Aquanuity.
• Analyze water use, population, and water quality data.
• Evaluate water supply availability and develop capital improvement programs.
• Prepare technical reports and master plans.
• Manage project teams, provide QA/QC reviews, and interact directly with clients to ensure excellent service.
• Assist with marketing and proposal development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• 10+ years in Water System Planning and Hydraulic Modeling.
• PE licensure in California or applicable states.
• Proficiency with CAD, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and client interactions.
• Strong technical report writing and calculations.
• Proficiency with InfoWater PRO and Aquanuity.
