Description
DCCM is seeking an experienced Senior Water / Civil Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects in our Southern California (Los Angeles area) office in Santa Fe Springs.
About the role
- Supports the planning, design, and delivery of a wide range of water infrastructure projects, including stormwater systems, potable water distribution systems, recycled water systems, sewer collection systems, and water well facilities.
- Prepares engineering plans, specifications, and calculations while coordinating with public agency clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Supports projects through multiple phases, including planning, design, and construction.
- Demonstrates the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly with both clients and internal staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
- Approximately 15+ years of relevant civil engineering experience (flexible depending on qualifications)
- Experience working on municipal water infrastructure projects
- Experience with stormwater systems, potable water distribution, recycled water systems, sewer collection systems, and/or water well facilities
- Experience preparing engineering plans, specifications, and calculations
- Experience coordinating with public agency clients
- Able to support projects through planning, design, and construction phases
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
