Senior Water / Civil Engineer (PE)

Description

DCCM is seeking an experienced Senior Water / Civil Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects in our Southern California (Los Angeles area) office in Santa Fe Springs.

About the role

• Supports the planning, design, and delivery of a wide range of water infrastructure projects, including stormwater systems, potable water distribution systems, recycled water systems, sewer collection systems, and water well facilities.
• Prepares engineering plans, specifications, and calculations while coordinating with public agency clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Supports projects through multiple phases, including planning, design, and construction.
• Demonstrates the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly with both clients and internal staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
• Approximately 15+ years of relevant civil engineering experience (flexible depending on qualifications)
• Experience working on municipal water infrastructure projects
• Experience with stormwater systems, potable water distribution, recycled water systems, sewer collection systems, and/or water well facilities
• Experience preparing engineering plans, specifications, and calculations
• Experience coordinating with public agency clients
• Able to support projects through planning, design, and construction phases
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
