Senior Vice President, Operations (Construction)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Vice President of Operations to lead a large-scale utility and infrastructure construction business. This executive will be responsible for overall operational, financial, safety, and customer performance while driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business operations and execution of strategic growth initiatives.
• Oversee large-scale construction and utility infrastructure projects to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met.
• Manage P&L performance exceeding $200M, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls.
• Drive operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and risk management programs.
• Develop high-performing leadership teams and succession plans.
• Build strong relationships with customers, employees, and industry partners.
• Leverage technology, KPIs, and data-driven decision-making to improve business performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• 12+ years of leadership experience in construction, utility, infrastructure, or related industries.
• 5+ years in an executive operations leadership role.
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction operations and capital projects.
• Demonstrated success managing a P&L of $200M+ and delivering profitable growth.
• Strong strategic, financial, operational, and people leadership skills.

Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid) • Compensation: $320,000 – $350,000+ Base Salary + Bonus
