As the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Earned Media, you are a key leader on HUNTER’s centralized Media Team, driving and developing the strategies that keep our clients at the forefront of the cultural conversation.
Responsibilities
- Chart the Course: You don’t just follow trends; you anticipate them. You will oversee the development of high-impact media strategies, ensuring every campaign, from a global product launch to a niche reactive moment, is integrated, innovative, and aligned with broader client goals.
- Command the Newsroom: Your rolodex is second to none. You maintain a high-level network of key editors and industry titans. You’re not just pitching; you’re building the long-term, top-tier relationships that ensure our agency remains a preferred partner for the world’s most influential outlets.
- Lead from the Front: You’re never "too senior" to jump in and support media outreach. You have the industry clout to land the big hits and the hustle to roll up your sleeves and pitch alongside your team during high-stakes launches or breaking news moments. You lead by example, showing the pack exactly how to turn interest into confirmed coverage.
- Bridge the Silos: You are the ultimate collaborator. You will serve as the strategic liaison between Account, Creative, Digital, and Entertainment teams, ensuring that earned media isn’t an afterthought, but a core driver of every creative execution.

- Lead the Team: As a senior leader, you are a culture-builder. You manage and mentor a team of media specialists, providing the training and feedback they need to level up. You lead by example, championing agency policy and fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment.
- Master the Logistics: You know that a great strategy is only as good as its execution. You’ll keep the media engine humming by overseeing project timelines, managing team bandwidth, and staying diligent on active billings. From tracking deliverables to ensuring scopes are met, you bring an organized, project-management mindset to every account.
- Secure the Spotlight: You are a pro at managing high-stakes execution. You’ll ensure your team expertly manages booking talent and executing celebrity spokesperson media days, and that every run of show document and interview brief is top notch.
- Drive the Engine: You have a sharp eye for the business of the agency. You’ll oversee operational tasks, from building project scopes and managing billings/time on current projects to contributing to new business pitches that showcase our media prowess to prospective clients.
- Voice of Authority: Support in development of proactive thought leadership POVs on media relations topics including the media landscape, media trends, and current events.
