Your Role
Enterprise leadership & Organizational Design
- Architect the Access Function: Design, build, and scale a best-in-class, fully integrated market access organization capable of supporting multiple oral oncology product launches
- Executive Mentorship: Lead, empower, and mentor a high-performing leadership team encompassing critical functions across global value and access, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), strategic operations, patient services, trade operations, and payer strategy
- Cross-Functional Vision: Serve as the strategic anchor for market access within the C-suite and across the enterprise, ensuring that value demonstration, pricing elasticity, and payer insights are embedded into early-stage asset development and overarching commercial strategy
Strategic Priorities
Global Value & Health Economics
- Value Proposition Strategy: Champion the enterprise-wide value proposition, directing the strategic generation of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) to support compelling, evidence-based narratives for health technology assessments and global payers
- Global Access Alignment: Oversee the integration of U.S. and Ex-U.S. access strategies, ensuring a cohesive global approach to value demonstration and market entry
Pricing, Payer Strategy & Policy
- Innovative Pricing Paradigms: Formulate sophisticated launch pricing, gross-to-net (GTN) strategies, and contracting frameworks that maximize product value and ensure favorable positioning across Commercial, Medicare Part D, and Medicaid segments
- Policy Anticipation & Advocacy: Act as the organization's foremost authority on the evolving healthcare policy landscape (e.g., Medicare Part D redesigns, PBM legislation), proactively steering corporate strategy to mitigate risks and capitalize on market shifts
- Government Pricing Optimization: Deep understanding of government programs and calculations. Proven ability to forecast the structural impacts of federal pricing programs, ensuring access strategies align with long-term portfolio revenue goals
Channel Architecture & Patient Experience
- Strategic Distribution Network: Architect an optimal, scalable specialty pharmacy (SP) and distribution network tailored exclusively for high-value oral oncology therapeutics, balancing network control with broad community oncology access
- Best-in-Class Patient Support: Define the vision for Tango's Patient Services and hub infrastructure, driving strategies that eliminate access friction, optimize time-to-therapy, and deliver superior patient experience
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, MPH, or related discipline) strongly preferred
- 20+ years of progressive biopharmaceutical experience, with a significant tenure in executive-level market access, pricing, and commercial strategy roles
- Demonstrated enterprise leadership experience, successfully transitioning companies through critical inflection points (e.g., clinical-stage to commercial-stage)
- A proven track record of architecting and leading successful U.S. market access launches for novel oral oncology or rare disease therapies

- Strategic Acumen: Deep understanding of complex oral oncology treatment paradigms, pharmacy benefit designs, and the financial mechanics of specialty distribution and PBM negotiations

- Salary range $337,600—$506,400 USD
