About the role

The Senior Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer will lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality, scalable, and resilient applications using Java, Angular, Python, and SQL. They will collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The role involves driving best practices in software development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls, and supporting the integration of AI and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality, scalable, and resilient applications using Java, Angular, Python, and SQL
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Drive best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of our technology platforms
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to technology and risk management
  • Support the integration of AI and emerging technologies to enhance client and employee experiences
  • Demonstrate teamwork. Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment aligned with our company culture and values

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
  • 10 plus years of progressive engineering experience, including leadership of multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong CS fundamentals with problem solving analysis, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Highly motivated and self-starter
  • Experience building distributed high-performance, high-availability systems
  • Hands on experience in Core Java & J2EE skills, PL/SQL, Python
  • Fundamental understanding of RDBMS and database design applications
  • Experience with RESTful web services, Tomcat, Apache, Unix Script are a plus
  • Experience with working in Finance is preferred
