Senior Vice President, Cash Processing/Funds Transfer Manager
About the role
This role manages the entirety of the ACH Processing unit for Payments Enablement SDG group under Payments processing. You will ensure best-practice approaches for streamlining and optimization processes through workflow design and technology, apply in-depth knowledge and expertise on service offerings, and proactively assess and resolve complex transaction issues.
- Develop processes for quality improvement and systems to test and maintain cash processing and transactions management.
- Act as an escalation point for complex problems that less experienced resources cannot solve, crafting solutions and methods to resolve current and future issues.
- Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff, maximizing their individual contributions, professional growth, and team effectiveness.
- Manage one or more Cash Processing and Funds Transfer teams, ensuring achievement of team goals and operational readiness.
- Oversee human resources of the team, including coaching, performance management, and career development.
- May manage financial resources of the team (budgets, expenses, etc.).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required; advanced/graduate degree preferred.
- 7-10 years of total work experience with at least 1-3 years in management preferred.
- Extreme industry knowledge regarding the ACH Batch process, with external industry experience for both internal and external communications due to ongoing ACH modernization.
- Experience in financial investments preferred.
- Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package. The expected base salary for this position varies depending on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is part of a total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
