The Senior Vertical Marketing Manager, HVAC, will serve as the General Manager of Marketing for Podium's HVAC sub-vertical. This role involves owning the entire marketing process from brand awareness through acquisition, activation, and retention. Key responsibilities include setting the go-to-market strategy, coordinating efforts across various functions, and driving measurable growth in the HVAC market.
What you will be doing
- Own the Strategy & Hit Revenue Goals: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to achieve Podium’s bookings targets. Focus on channels such as partnerships, influencer marketing, and trade publications.
- Drive our Partner Network: Develop and execute marketing campaigns for high-leverage partners to convert prospects into paying customers. Utilize the partner network to build a pipeline of influencers as advocates for Podium.
- Understand the Customer: Identify customer pain points, understand their business operations, and determine the most effective channels and messaging to engage them. Share insights across the marketing and broader organization to inform go-to-market strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product, and Support teams to align vertical efforts across the organization and build campaigns that resonate with customers and prospects.
- Content Leadership: Create vertical-specific collateral, trade show playbooks, and other marketing materials to support partners, influencers, and trade shows. Ensure messaging resonates with the target audience based on your deep understanding of the HVAC market.
What you should have
- 8-12 years of experience in marketing strategy, demand generation, or similar roles, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
- A strong understanding of digital marketing channels, content strategy, and campaign execution.
- A bias to action and a passion for building and executing marketing strategies that drive significant bookings impact.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with tools like Sigma and SQL to drive insights using data and analytics.
- A customer-centric mindset and the ability to empathize with customers.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with different teams.
- An interest in owning multiple marketing channels and creating conversion-oriented content.
