Senior Value Engineer - High Tech

Responsibilities

• Actively drive the full customer lifecycle, from pre-sales discovery to post-sales implementation and support.
• Lead technical discovery and capability demonstrations during pre-sales cycles, and ensure successful implementation and adoption post-sale.
• Own driving enterprise-wide ROI and adoption programs, accelerating customer autonomy through QBRs, strategic roadmaps, and enterprise-wide value opportunities.
• Enable cross-functional alignment and establish repeatable frameworks for customers to independently track, realize, and expand on business value.
• Serve as the internal and external technical subject matter expert for your customer industry domain, scaling knowledge across the organization.
• Understand and frame customer insights to realize measurable business value through the Celonis Process Intelligence platform.
• Manage project scope, expectations, and timelines, planning and managing multiple projects across aligned accounts.
• Present to both internal and external stakeholders, leading technical whiteboarding sessions and formal readouts and demos.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in pre-sales, customer success, and/or consulting functions, preferably in pre/post-sales consulting, strategy consulting, business process improvement, digital transformations, or customer value realization.
• Strong technical skills across Microsoft or competitor equivalents (e.g., AWS), with relevant certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure, Data Engineering).
• Knowledge of Data Connections, Data Objects, Data Validation, and Data Analysis.
• Understanding of basic prompting and data constructs within prompts, and hands-on experience building agentic systems using LLM orchestration, RAG, function calling, and prompt engineering, ensuring safety through rigorous evaluations and guardrails.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Focus in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent work experience preferred.

Pay

• The base salary range for this role varies based on location and schedule. For example, in New York, the range is $131,250—$153,750 USD, and in California, it is $137,000—$161,000 USD.

• This role is typically full-time, with a flexible hybrid work model that allows for remote focus alongside vibrant office collaboration.
