Joining a multi-disciplinary UX team, you will collaborate with Engineering and Product Management, using user insights to create industry-leading products. In a fast-paced environment, you will use your creativity, analytical skills, and knowledge of user-facing technologies to:

• Create prototypes that define product experiences;
• Leverage user insights to drive product direction;
• Develop tools to accelerate UX teams;
• Bridge design and engineering to ensure efficient, high-quality execution.

YouTube Live is where Creators and audiences connect through the power of real-time interaction. In this role, you will have a passion for live streaming and video creation to bridge the gap between broadcast and conversation, crafting experiences and tools that enable real-time interactivity. From large global events to intimate creator hangouts, you’ll solve complex UX challenges at an unmatched scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in front-end development, technical UX design, or prototyping.
• Experience in application development in at least one platform/area (e.g., web, iOS, Android, CompDes, XR).
• Experience in Rapid Prototyping.

Preferred qualifications

• 7 years of experience developing responsive, adaptive, and performant websites and applications.
• 6 years of experience as a front-end developer, UX Engineer, creative or design technologist, or in a prototyping design environment.
• Experience in front-end technologies (e.g., web, mobile platforms) and experience in building robust, high-fidelity prototypes and production-level code to validate and deliver user experiences.
• Strong track record of collaborating effectively with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Software Engineers.
• Evidence of providing technical or design leadership, guiding implementation strategies, and actively contributing innovative ideas rather than just executing on defined tasks.

Pay

US: $159000 - $231000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
