You will drive visual excellence that elevates the listening experience and ensures cohesion for harmonious listening anytime, anywhere, on any platform – including iOS, Android, web, and Alexa.
Responsibilities
- Drive visual excellence that elevates the listening experience and ensures cohesion for harmonious listening anytime, anywhere, on any platform – including iOS, Android, web, and Alexa.
- Champion visual design excellence by relentlessly raising the bar through new insights, design trends, and strategic thinking.
- Create high-fidelity visual designs and interactive prototypes that explore new visual directions, demonstrate motion principles and micro-interactions, and validate design intent through stakeholder collaboration and user testing.
- Build relationships which provide leadership, direction and mentorship for a team of UX Designers.
- Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams, management, and research on complex user flows and commerce-driven projects.
Requirements
- Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices.
- 7+ years of industry experience as a visual designer, product designer or similar role.
- Experience designing and delivering digital products that align customer needs and business goals; illustrated with a portfolio.
- Experience taking design problems and working with stakeholders and user research insights to craft design solutions grounded in customer needs and business goals.
- Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output in all deliverables.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: 7+ years of industry experience as a visual designer, product designer or similar role; experience designing and delivering digital products that align customer needs and business goals; illustrated with a portfolio; experience taking design problems and working with stakeholders and user research insights to craft design solutions grounded in customer needs and business goals; experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams; experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output in all deliverables.
- PREFERRED Qualifications: Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders; experience in a range of design approaches, methods, and tools that you use to plan, concept, and prototype complex projects; experience delivering designs intended for a consumer market; experience designing for AI-enabled features.
Skills
- Deep understanding of design principles — including typography, composition and layout, scale, and color theory — to create cohesive, innovative visual experiences that influence long-term organizational strategy.
- Subject matter expertise across visual design domains including graphic design, motion, art direction, and design systems.
- Scale a new visual language through the design system by translating visual principles into design tokens, reusable components, and patterns that integrate with development workflows to ensure consistency and quality across platforms.
- Create high-fidelity visual designs and interactive prototypes that explore new visual directions, demonstrate motion principles and micro-interactions, and validate design intent through stakeholder collaboration and user testing.
- Actively collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams, management, and research on complex user flows and commerce-driven projects.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
- USA, CA, Culver City - 137,800.00 - 186,400.00 USD annually
- USA, NJ, Newark - 155,400.00 - 210,300.00 USD annually
