Senior UX Designer, Foundations

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to shape the core platform services at Prosper—think authentication, payments, and other foundational experiences. You’ll own end-to-end UX design, partner closely with engineering through implementation, and help evolve our design systems.

The role sits at the intersection of React-based frameworks, Figma, and AI-assisted tools like Cursor, all while navigating the unique compliance and security demands of fintech.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine user experiences for Prosper’s platform services, including authentication flows and payment systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams from concept through implementation, ensuring designs are feasible and aligned with technical constraints.
• Maintain and evolve design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across the platform.
• Work with React-based frameworks and modern design tools like Figma and Cursor to deliver high-quality, production-ready designs.
• Address fintech-specific challenges, including compliance, security, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX Designer, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work on complex digital products or platforms.
• Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with React-based frameworks.
• Experience designing for fintech, compliance-heavy environments, or regulated industries is a plus.
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with engineering, product, and other stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of design systems and their role in scaling product experiences.
