Senior UX Designer
Overview of the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to help shape intuitive, high-quality digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. This role will focus on designing transactional, monitoring, and informational experiences related to digital assets and emerging financial technologies.
The Basics
- Duraton: 78 weeks
- Hrs: 40 per week
- Location: Hybrid; must be able to work onsite in Austin or Westlake, TX
- Portfolio Requirement: A digital portfolio showcasing relevant UX work is required with application submission
Top 3 Required Qualifications
- End-to-End UX Design Expertise - 6-10 years of experience designing digital products, including user research, user flows, wireframes, prototyping, and final experience delivery
- Cross-Platform Product Design - Experience designing responsive web, mobile web, and native mobile experiences, including at least one year focused on touch-based mobile interfaces
- Figma & User-Centered Design Proficiency - Strong expertise using Figma and applying user-centered design principles to solve complex business and user challenges
Key Responsibilities
- Lead UX design efforts from discovery through final delivery for digital products and experiences
- Design intuitive user experiences across desktop, mobile web, and native mobile platforms
- Conduct and synthesize user research to identify customer needs, pain points, and opportunities
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished design solutions that balance user needs with business objectives
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle
- Independently drive design exploration, problem definition, and solution development
- Deliver high-quality work while maintaining consistency with established design systems and UX standards
- Translate complex concepts into simple, trustworthy, and engaging customer experiences
- Present design recommendations, rationale, and tradeoffs to stakeholders and project teams
- Support continuous improvement by challenging assumptions, exploring new approaches, and adapting to changing priorities
- Contribute to a collaborative design culture through knowledge sharing, feedback, and mentorship when appropriate
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of user-centered solutions
