Senior UX Designer

Type: 4-5 month contract to start

Role Overview

We are seeking two UX Designers for a fully remote opportunity. A typical day will involve analyzing how users interact with auto sales and finance systems, mapping out those journeys, designing improvements, ensuring those designs are compliant with regulations, and collaborating with various teams to bring those solutions to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX, design, and journey mapping, with specific experience related to auto retail sales or lending platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user interactions with auto sales and finance systems.
• Develop and create journey maps to visualize user experiences.
• Design improvements and create wireframes for products.
• Develop and test prototypes with end-users to ensure usability.
• Introduce modifications based on testing and user feedback.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other designers to align on market preferences.
• Ensure designs are compliant with relevant regulations.
• Evaluate product success and customer feedback post-launch to inform future editions.

Requirements

Education: A bachelor's degree in graphic design or a computer-related field is generally required. Experience may be substituted for education in some cases.

• Core UX experience with auto retail sales platforms (such as Capital One Navigator, Bank of America, JD Power, Cox Automotive, Auto Trader, Car Gurus, Forbes Guide, Edmunds) or auto lending platforms is required.
• A portfolio of previous work may be necessary.

Skills

• Proficiency with UX Design and Journey Mapping software such as Miro, UXPressia, or Lucidchart.
• Experience in Adobe Suite, HTML, and CSS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with compliance mapping is helpful.
