Responsibilities
- Lead financial conversations with members to help them navigate everyday banking, major life decisions, and long-term goals.
- Build relationships that create lifelong members through trust, empathy, and outstanding service.
- Provide expert support on accounts, loans, digital banking tools, and personalized financial solutions.
- Mentor and support Universal Bankers, helping elevate the member experience and team performance.
- Solve problems creatively, from helping a member improve their credit to guiding them through a big purchase or budget.
- Drive branch success through sales, service excellence, and smart decision-making.
Preference for bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales or customer service experience (or related higher education).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an NMLS number.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills that reflect Summit’s positive, member-focused culture.
- Adaptability and sound judgment to handle unique daily challenges within established guidelines.
- Active listening skills and a commitment to fully understanding and resolving member needs.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate proactively with members and non-members.
- High attention to detail, with consistent follow-up and follow-through.
- Comfort using the Microsoft Office Suite and digital tools.
- Basic math skills and readiness to learn more complex financial concepts.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- Continuously required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers.
- Occasionally must reach above and below shoulder level, and lift/push/pull and/or carry up to 40 pounds.
- Works in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting.
