Responsibilities
- Provides underwriting counsel and authorization for real estate title insurance commitments and policies
- Utilizes underwriting standards within authority limits for title insurance issuance
- Guides personnel in real estate settlement services
- Issues underwriting standards according to company processes
- Communicates underwriting information to the team
- Performs other assigned duties
- Law Degree required
- Admitted to practice in Texas or Oklahoma
- Licensed to practice law, in good standing
- 8-10 years of title underwriting experience
- Experience in Texas or Oklahoma title underwriting
- Familiarity with real estate law
- Understanding of Federal and State regulations related to title insurance and settlement services
