Senior Underwriter, Property Large Commercial (East Zone)

Underwriting

• Responsibilities

  Review and analyze large commercial property insurance applications to assess risk and determine appropriate coverage levels. Conduct thorough investigations into claims to ensure fair and accurate settlements. Collaborate with other underwriters and adjusters to develop effective risk management strategies. Stay updated on industry trends and legislative changes that impact property insurance.

• Requirements

  Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in property insurance underwriting, preferably in large commercial markets. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license required.

• Qualifications

  BS/BA degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Actuarial Science, or a related field. CIP (Certified Insurance Professional) designation preferred.

• Skills

  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of property insurance policies and regulations.

• Benefits

  $100,000 - $120,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
