Accountabilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute UAT activities throughout the testing lifecycle, including enhancements, releases, regression testing, and production validation.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, acceptance criteria, and validation documentation based on business requirements, workflows, and user stories.
- Translate business, operational, technical, and reporting requirements into clear testing scenarios and expected outcomes.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, release validation, and production validation testing.
- Identify, document, prioritize, track, and validate resolution of defects, issues, blockers, and discrepancies.
- Support UAT kickoff meetings, testing readiness reviews, defect triage sessions, stakeholder walkthroughs, and post-release retrospectives.
- Collaborate with business users, technical teams, vendors, project managers, and subject matter experts to confirm testing needs and release readiness.
- Manage testing activities and defect tracking using tools such as Jira, including dashboards, reporting, priorities, milestones, and status updates.
- Maintain organized testing documentation, including test plans, execution evidence, traceability materials, defect logs, and validation summaries.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, open issues, acceptance decisions, and release recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Partner with training, operations, policy, and change management teams to support implementation readiness.
- Auxiliary in go-live preparation, production validation, and post-implementation follow-up activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within the last 5 years in testing, quality assurance, business analysis, system implementation, or modernization roles.
- Proven experience supporting the full UAT lifecycle, including planning, scenario creation, test execution, defect management, reporting, and release readiness.
- Experience translating requirements, workflows, user stories, and acceptance criteria into detailed test cases and validation documentation.
- Experience creating and maintaining test inventories, traceability documentation, defect logs, and testing reports.
- Experience executing functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, release validation, or production validation testing.
- Experience using Jira or similar project and defect management tools.
- Ability to communicate testing outcomes, risks, issues, and recommendations clearly to both technical and business audiences.
- Strong documentation, facilitation, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a project-driven environment.
- Experience supporting healthcare, Medicaid, eligibility, claims, encounter, or public sector technology initiatives is preferred.
- Experience working with vendor-managed systems or large-scale modernization programs is preferred.
- Experience supporting go-live activities, release readiness, production validation, and post-implementation reviews is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the year as needed.
