Senior Tutor - SAT Math Section Specialist

About the role

TPAPT, a national nonprofit consortium of over 12,000 locally owned and operated Tutoring & College Advising Programs, seeks experienced SAT math section specialists to work with US students in grades 9-12.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with students to understand their unique learning styles and create customized lesson plans that support their individual academic goals.
• Provide SAT and ACT Math section tutoring to students in grades 9-12.
• Tutoring assignments are 60-90 minutes.
• Tutoring assignments are regular and reliable.
• Sessions are generally scheduled between 3PM and 9PM ET during the week and between 10am - 4pm during weekend days.

Requirements

• 3-12 hours per week of availability.
• Earned Bachelor's Degree.
• Demonstrable experience and test expertise.
• Exceptionally strong communication skills.
• A passion for helping others learn.
• Familiarity with online lesson delivery.
• TPAPT SAT/ACT math certification preferred.
