Senior Trial Attorney

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation files from inception to conclusion
• Take full responsibility for files and handle a modified caseload while also trying cases
• Communicate the status of the file regularly to claims
• Prepare file for trial
• Take to trial cases handled by others and assigned to the successful candidate for purposes of trial

Requirements

• 5 + years of experience handling No Fault Litigation from inception to conclusion
• Knowledge of local and state discovery rules, trial procedures, and applicable substantive law commensurate with level of experience
• Proven track record of trial skills and techniques
• Strong negotiation, research, and trial skills
• Ability to work in a team environment with other attorneys, adjusters, claims professionals, and support staff

Qualifications

• Law degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school and excellent academic credential
• Active law license to practice in Michigan and a member in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan

Schedule

We offer flexible work hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with options like 8–4, 8:30–4:30, or 9–5. We do our best to support individual preferences, though schedules may be adjusted as needed to ensure strong coverage and teamwork. We also offer a hybrid schedule: team members work onsite four days a week and can work remotely one day a week.
