Senior Transportation/Roadway Project Engineer
The Opportunity
Aguirre & Fields is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in our Fort Worth, TX office to lead meaningful civil engineering work that strengthens communities. This role blends technical leadership, project delivery, mentoring, and client service. You’ll partner with Project Managers, Office Team Leads, and project teams to deliver work on schedule, within budget, and with a strong focus on client and staff satisfaction.
The Ideal Candidate
- A registered Professional Engineer with relevant civil engineering design and project experience.
- A B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
- Relevant technology and software experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support project teams in delivering quality engineering work.
- Cook up schedules, budgets, priorities, and design deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance, quality control support, and client-facing communication.
- Mentor assigned staff and support a positive, high-performing team culture.
- Contribute to pursuits, RFP responses, and community-focused initiatives.
