About the role

We are seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager - Municipal to join our dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in shaping the future of transportation networks, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and sustainable.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage all aspects of small to large multi-discipline projects
  • Independently coordinate work of engineers and balance team workload throughout entire project's development
  • Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
  • Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
  • Conduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff
  • Cookload workload throughout entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule
  • Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule
  • Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

  • US citizenship or Permanent Resident Status (Green card holder)
  • Preferred qualifications: Experience with grade separations, BRT projects and Caltrans highway projects
  • Preferred qualifications: Proficiency with CAD software AutoCAD or MicroStation and the ability to train others as needed
  • Preferred qualifications: Experience using Civil3D, InRoads and/or Civil 3D
  • Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Required qualifications: 10 years related experience
  • Required qualifications: 5 years project management experience
  • Required qualifications: Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered

  • MS Office and MS Project experience

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is $149,000 - $212,000 and depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.

Schedule

This is a Full-time position.

Business Class

This role is located in the Highways Business Class.

Location

The primary location for this role is United States-California-San Diego.
