About the Position
Under the direction of the Chief, Geotechnical Design South (OGDS), the Geotechnical Liaison Engineer serves as the single focal point as a liaison between the District Planning, District Project Managers, DES PPM&OE, and OGDS staff for securing project resourcing for projects in Districts 7, 8, 11, and 12. The incumbent supports OGDS clients and partners by coordinating task management activities for all geotechnical matters, including addressing shifting District priorities, attending District Project Management/Status meetings, and providing updates on geotechnical progress and status. The Geotechnical Liaison Engineer also occasionally serves as a liaison with other subdivisions within the Division of Engineering Services.
Responsibilities
- Act as the single focal point liaison between District Planning, District Project Managers, DES PPM&OE, and OGDS staff for securing project resourcing in Districts 7, 8, 11, and 12.
- Coordinate task management activities for all geotechnical matters, including addressing shifting District priorities.
- Attend District Project Management/Status meetings and provide updates on geotechnical progress and status.
- Serve as a liaison with other subdivisions within the Division of Engineering Services.
Pay
Annual salary: $137,244.00 - $171,780.00
