Senior Transportation Engineer - Highway Design Lead

About the role

The Senior Transportation Engineer - Highway Design Lead is responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of highway projects. This role requires extensive knowledge in transportation engineering and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and implementation of highway projects
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure project success
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff
• Contribute to the development of new transportation policies and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in transportation engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications

• Experience with highway design software
• Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
