Responsibilities
- Help expand WRA’s transportation design and construction management services
- Provide strategic business planning and lead new market development
- Build, manage, and maintain positive client relationships
- Support business development through proposal preparation and client presentations
- Lead and guide complex transportation projects and programs
- Engage in hiring and mentoring staff, including acting as a technical and managerial advisor
- Guide the technical quality of construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and documents ensuring compliance with project and contract requirements
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- Must be certified as a Professional Engineer in the state of Maryland
- 15 or more years of relevant, progressive experience related to transportation engineering
- Experience managing transportation projects and preparing contract documents
- Knowledge of AASHTO, FHWA, and other relevant highway design guidelines, criteria, and standards required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Pay
The expected annual compensation range for this position is $190,000.00 - $240,000.00.
