SENIOR TRANSPORTATION ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (SUPERVISOR)

Job Description and Duties

The Division of Design III, Engineering Services, is looking to hire a Project Development Design Technical Services Branch Manager. This position is being considered at either a Senior Transportation Engineer (Sup) classification under JC-523484, or a Senior Transportation Electrical Engineer (Sup) under JC-523606. Only one hire will be made. Please refer to the appropriate JC to apply.

Under the direction of a Supervising Transportation Engineer, incumbent is responsible for directing and supervising staff in the Utility Engineering Workgroup, the Office of Construction Estimate Review (OCER), Document Retrieval System (DRS), Quality Management Assessment (QMA), and CADD Support.

This position(s) requires(s) a valid certificate of registration as an electrical engineer issued by the California Board of Registration for Professional Engineers for appointment.

Special Requirements

Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle.
