Senior Traffic Engineer / Project Manager

About the role

As a Senior Traffic Engineer / Project Manager, you will lead complex traffic engineering projects, manage teams, and provide technical expertise to support the department's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and implementation of traffic engineering projects.
• Manage project teams, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct traffic studies, analyze data, and develop solutions to improve traffic flow and safety.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate traffic engineering solutions into broader urban planning initiatives.
• Prepare and present reports and recommendations to stakeholders, including city officials and community groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in traffic engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with traffic simulation software.
• Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
