Senior Traffic Engineer
Job Summary
The City of Pasco seeks a Senior Traffic Engineer to address traffic-related issues and improve overall traffic flow. This position plays a vital role in long-term transportation planning, assessing future growth, and proposing improvements to accommodate increasing traffic demands.

Qualifications
Any equivalent combination of education and experience providing knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Traffic Engineering or closely related field.
Five (5) years of progressively responsible engineering experience in traffic or transportation engineering design.
Preferred previous public works and public agency project experience.
Certain licenses and certificates may be acquired on the job.
Requirements
Valid Washington State driver’s license.
Registered Professional Engineer of Washington State (PE) or able to obtain reciprocity within six months.
Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) in the State of Washington is desirable.
