Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute, allocate, and reconcile trades in a timely manner
- Maintain and rebalance portfolios across different strategies
- Work with firm portfolio managers to implement model changes and manage cash needs for strategy accounts
- Support trading requests from advisors and portfolio managers
- Update and maintain reports daily, weekly, and monthly to monitor model and strategy accounts
- Liaise with operations team members to resolve any critical/complex problems related to specific trading transactions or processes
- Ensure trade workflow is operating with efficiency, quality, and accuracy
- Deal with complex issues utilizing appropriate channels and resources
- Support service requests ensuring compliance and risk mitigation practices are followed
- Identify, communicate, and monitor discrepancies and workflow issues between the custodian, trading platform, and accounting system
Experience/Credentials
- B.A. or B.S. degree, in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in trade desk and securities operations
- Demonstrated knowledge of trade executions
- Demonstrated proficiency with portfolio accounting and trading systems: Tamarac, FIX Flyer, Co-Pilot
- Experience in general business applications: Salesforce, Excel, Word, SharePoint
- Proficiency with general business applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe
