Venturi, LLC A Chenega Company has a challenging career opportunity for a Senior Threat Discrimination Systems Engineer who will provide systems technical analysis expertise to develop new Missile Defense System capabilities for the identification of lethal objects. This Engineer will support the Missile Defense Agency on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract. Responsibilities Work within a multi-discipline, multi-source/industry teamProvide technical analysis, management, and general scientific support to MDA’s Counter- Countermeasures and Discrimination DirectorateDevelop and formulate options for improving the Missile Defense System's discrimination and electronic protection capabilitiesPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications Master's Degree in a STEM field 12+ years of experienceActive Secret clearance requiredSuccessfully pass background and drug screening Preferred Qualifications Active Top Secret/SCI clearanceKnowledge of MDA systems engineering processes Program management certification (DAU, PMP, etc.) Knowledge of Missile Defense fundamentals to include radar limitations Knowledge of electro-optic fundamentals Knowledge of radar hardware and design Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Ability to quickly qualify for an Active Top Secret/SCI clearance if you do not possess oneExpertise in radar signal processing, scheduling, object classification, and electronic protectionExperience in systems engineering analysis and process management to include development and review of engineering requirements, concepts of operations, and integrated schedulesExperience in conducting technical performance assessments and resulting risk analysis and mitigation developmentExperience in electronic attack/protection modeling development to support analysis and requirements developmentExperience in developing technology maturation plans to transfer potential technologies to program offices How you’ll grow At Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
