Senior Testing Engineer
Job Description
Complete all aspects of regulatory compliance testing, act as lead engineer on complex projects.
Train other test engineers and test technicians.
Test moderate to highly complex equipment.
Ensure product meets, IEC, EN, UL, CSA test standards.
Prepare test development project quotes and proposals by assisting in defining customer technical requirements, test strategies and selecting test equipment.
Establish and maintain professional relationship with customers.
Liaise with other global laboratories to ensure consistency and accuracy of methods and interpretations.
Document test results for correction actions, reports and audits.
Analyze test data and determine expected outcome for tests.
Identify and report all deviations.
Maintain confidentiality of all client information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering (or foreign equivalent)
- 3 years of experience evaluating products in accordance with CB Scheme, CE and GS regulatory standards, including experience with IES, IEC, EN, UL, CSA and BIS
- Brief domestic travel required
