Senior Test & Qualification Engineer

About the Role

Our mission is to make compute accessible to the whole world and reindustrialize advanced semiconductor manufacturing in the United States. We co-design everything for next-generation compute, from AI systems to manufacturing processes. Test is critical to ensuring our co-designed hardware meets its design promises, turning every product into data that improves future designs.

Responsibilities

• Own test strategy across wafer sort, final test, burn-in, and system-level test.
• Develop and correlate ATE programs with partners.
• Create test coverage and fault models.
• Design fixtures, load boards, sockets, and probe interfaces.
• Set limits based on data and correlate between test sites.
• Develop qualification plans and customer acceptance reports.
• Deliver reusable acceptance reports for customers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product, ATE, or system-level test.
• Proficiency with Advantest, Teradyne, or comparable platforms.
• Experience in data-driven limit setting.
• Proven track record of writing and releasing production test programs to manufacturing.
• Experience leading a product through qualification with customer sign-off.

Qualifications

• Helpful experience with burn-in, Python test automation, and Mandarin language skills.

Role Details

Full-time role with locations in Hsinchu, Taiwan, and Santa Clara, CA. Multiple openings available. Taiwan roles are employed through a local employer of record. Mandarin is a strong plus for Taiwan roles; English is required for written work.

Pay

$150,000–$195,000 base pay for Santa Clara, CA roles. Ranges depend on location, experience, and level. Full-time roles include equity and benefits. Taiwan pay is set to the local market and discussed in the first call.
