Senior Test Engineer

About the role

The Senior Test Engineer will support the Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) Lead Integration, Test, and Evaluation with 24/7 Operational Support (FLITE+) program at Buckley Space Force Base. This role involves providing advanced independent support to MW system verification and validation activities, developing and executing test plans and procedures, performing integration and operational test oversight, analyzing test results, identifying technical risks, and providing recommendations to improve verification effectiveness and system reliability. Coordination with engineering and operations teams is also required to support mission assurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced independent support to MW system verification and validation activities
• Develops and executes test plans and procedures ensuring requirements traceability
• Performs integration and operational test oversight in system of-systems environments
• Analyzes test results and identifies technical risks
• Provides recommendations to improve verification effectiveness and system reliability
• Captures lessons learned and communicates findings to stakeholders
• Coordinates with engineering and operations teams to support mission assurance

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field and 15+ years of progressive experience in system test, integration, and verification
• Experience in complex or mission-critical environments
• Knowledge of structured test methodologies and configuration management practices
• Ability to brief technical findings to program leadership
• Ability to operate in a TS/SCI classified environment
