Senior Technology Risk Specialist

Location

Client site work required 5 days/week in one of the following locations: Dallas, TX; Pittsburgh, PA; Strongsville, OH; Birmingham, AL; Phoenix, AZ; Aurora, CO.

Responsibilities

• Identify risks, design and maintain controls, and execute RCSAs or comparable risk assessments.
• Manage issue remediation and work within Archer/eGRC.
• Partner with Technology, Compliance, Legal, Audit, and 2LOD Risk teams.
• Establish Line of Business risk management strategy and oversee execution of risk management programs.
• Advocate for the risk management program and ensure it meets business and regulatory expectations.
• Provide risk expertise to business units and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit).
• Monitor internal and external changes to identify emerging risks.
• Lead cross‑functional teams and develop internal capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of banking/financial services experience, including several years in First Line Technology Risk, Operational Risk, Business Risk & Controls, or Technology Controls.
• Hands‑on experience with risk identification, control design, RCSA execution, issue remediation, and GRC tools (Archer preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience developing and managing internal risks and controls within financial institutions.
• First‑Line of Defense risk experience.

Compensation

Estimated compensation range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600 – $176,300, dependent on factors such as skill set, experience, and certifications.
